Although the website offers only a brief story of the product I purchased it based on its style, it intrigued me. I wasn't disappointed. The design, the frosted glass, the stainless steel, the small "log" are all beautifully made and of quality. When the frosted glass lights up, it is absolutely beautiful, unfortunately the light is on for only a fleeting moment. If I were to rate this on function alone, I might give it two stars. I gave three based on the appearance alone. The light, which is a large part of the beauty stays on for only a moment. The fragrance and sounds last five minutes. I recommend you have this close to your head so you can benefit from both, otherwise you will get no benefit at all. You cannot program when to release the fragrance more than once, you cannot have it play the music for more than the allotted time. The biggest disappointment is that I have to have this located directly on my night stand. I understand this is an alarm clock, most people will have this on a nightstand, but I cannot. I have one outlet near the bed and the extension cord is in full use. I have the current alarm clock across the room from me so I can look straight ahead and see time time. That's why I say the design is so beautiful because when you see it straight on, you can see the magnificence of it. If I'm wrong about the use then my apologies to Maison Berger. I recommend a detailed description be added to the website so you go in knowing exactly what to expect from this product. I also found it odd that you go to sleep using the night diffuser, but awake using the same one that put you to sleep. That's if you picked the evening fragrance, vice versa if you picked the morning fragrance. Again, beautiful, but needs a lot of refining.
