As a long-time customer, I have tried fragrance oils from most of the categories, but I found the only scents that I liked enough, or even loved a few, to repurchase were those in the "Fresh" category. However, over the course of three years, my top three, all-time favorite Fresh fragrance oils were retired, and I was truly saddened and somewhat angry. Before giving-up on Lampe Berger (at the time), I searched across several authorized seller web sites for fragrance oil reviews in other categories that I might like. Well....one review stopped me in my tracks and inspired me to try Sweet Fig, and I am SO GLAD that I took the chance!!

It immediately became and remains my current love/favorite. To me, it is one of the most unique Maison-Berger fragrance oils. It doesn't resemble cologne, or dessert, or laundry detergent, it truly is different.

Part of the reason I love this scent, I think, is because I cannot liken its facets components to another fruit or sweet smell, or flower, or clean/fresh note. It manages to balance all of these attributes so nicely. and it is pleasantly warm, but not warm like many of the stronger fragrance oils in the "Spcicy and Woody" category. It's a gentle warmth that is never intrusive or overwhelming. Lastly, Sweet Fig has a formidable throw, but it is not cloying.
