YOUR LOCATION:
USA, Baton Rouge, Louisiana
YOUR HEART'S HOME:
Home is where ever the heart is for me. Home is with my family – my incredible husband and amazing daughters and our sweet pup Murph man! :)
YOUR STORY:
I am Dr. Brittney Fusilier, the blessed wife of John Dwight and mom of two beautiful daughters named Madison Kate and Olivia Grace, and our precious Goldendoodle pup, Murphy Maximillion! I am first and foremost a child of God. I am intentional about glorifying Him and living life freely and abundantly! Everything that I have and all that I am I give thanks to Christ.
I am a former collegiate athlete. I played volleyball for LSU for 4 years and graduated with my B.S. in Accounting in 2011. I furthered my education at Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA), where I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2015. I may or may not be forever indebted to XULA because that’s where my husband and I first met. My husband and I are both pharmapreneurs (pharmacists + entrepreneurs) who are continuously working diligently to build an empire for family!
In a nutshell, I’m a God-fearing woman that loves her family, and I feel as though my purpose in life is to show others that life has so much more to offer than just going to work for 40 hours per week, for the next 40 years, to retire with 40% of a 401k from a salary that was essentially never really enough in the first place. I was once that closed-minded individual that thought that was the only way of life, and the moment I opened my mind, was the moment my life changed forever.
SMELLS IN YOUR LIFE:
I love subtle scents that aren’t overpowering, but that you can pick It out above other scents. Clean scents are my go to.
YOUR HOME INTERIOR ROUTINE:
I am big on having that signature scent for our home. We often have diffusers going each day which sets the mood and also reminds me that I am home. I am also a huge fan of holiday scents!
YOU AND MAISON BERGER:
Winterwood is one of my favorites! I am all about the candles, especially the ones from the Jonathan Adler Mr. and Mrs. Collection.
YOUR MOST VIVID OLFACTIVE MEMORY:
Any scents related to Christmas have the key to my heart. I remember growing up, the smell of our fresh Christmas tree and evergreen candles. Those scents to me meant Santa was coming.
YOUR LIFE PHILOSOPHY:
My family is my driving force. Each day, we are giving it the best we’ve got!
