How to light a Lampe Berger:

Fill the lamp with the accompanying home fragrance.
Light the burner.
Blow the flame out after a couple of minutes to clean the air and release French fragrance that captivates and allures.

Cozy Gourmand Chimney Fire
I live in an NYC apartment where active fireplaces are a big NO. From a practical point of view, I am very grateful for this, since I don't want the building burning down, but aesthetically, it's a bummer. So happy to have found this fragrance, which fills in the gap beautifully. I burned this one all holiday season long but am definitely thinking of restocking for the coming winter months.
