How to light a Lampe Berger:

Fill the lamp with the accompanying home fragrance.
Light the burner.
Blow the flame out after a couple of minutes to clean the air and release French fragrance that captivates and allures.

This is the first scent I have tried that I do not reallycare for. I love woodsy aromas but this smells a bit like a discount candle, very powdery and over powering. Going to dilute it and that will probably help but I will be picking a different holiday scent in the future!
