This is my second purchase of Underneath the Magnolias lamp refill. I continue to endorse the scent; it is on the stronger side but does not closely resemble the magnolia blooms most people are familiar with. The scent has a spicy edge, which provides a slightly exotic aroma envelope. The bundle deal with the candle was a good value, but the decorative box was damaged during shipping due to a lack of protective packaging. Unfortunately, I purchased the bundle to use the candle as a gift, but I will have to keep it for myself due to the dog-eared packaging that renders it unpresentable.

After living in the South for several years, I honestly bolted when I first experienced this Fragrance. I found the real Magnolia experience to be a Softer….Sweeter fragrance. I did not see mention of Magnolia in the scents that are featured in this Lampe Berger Fragrance. Truly experiencing real Magnolia, I do not find that the real Magnolia Tree Fragrance is reminiscent of Patchouli OR Musk, at all. This Lampe Berger Fragrance is a very Strong scent and a much sharper one than the real experience of, “walking under a Magnolia tree”…….much sharper!
